Leathercraft
Contents
Description
Leathercraft is used primarily to create armor from leather and fur. Leather and fur can be collected by scavenging, dissecting animal hides obtained by Hunting animals, or collecting and sorting Scrap Leather bundles from Junk Piles.
The Primary Attribute and Secondary Attribute for Leathercraft are Strength and Perception.
Some recipes require a certain skill level in leathercraft in order to learn them. As you progress and increase your skill you will learn recipes through using leathercraft but you can also learn them if you have the recipe that you acquired from another player or by scavenging.
Each armor piece can be crafted in 3 types: Normal, Artisan or Master, with Normal being the lowest and Master the highest. You can't learn an Artisan recipe without first learning the normal one, and you can't learn a Master recipe without first learning the Normal and Artisan versions of that recipe. Master and Artisan recipes require more materials and tools to make, but will give you a resulting piece with higher stats. The stats you will have on any given recipe depend on the stats on the materials used.
