critter die in the water and fall to the gound of it
a critter, same as a player wak in the water till the water is deep enough to swim. killed critters in the water at a river and 2 of them died on the ground, because they didnt swim yet. the deadbody was not available for skinning.

This happens on the cusp of the water edge. If the water is too shallow it will goto the bottom, even though its not really shallow enough for players to reach.
