Infirmary 'floor' fallthru

I know that early on in the testing of Infirmaries there was an issue of falling thru the floors upon revival, which was fixed. If you use an actual floor or floor/truss combo in your infirmary on the live servers everything is fine and works as intended. If you currently use something other than a floor part, the person reviving will fall thru to the ground and potentially get stuck or die (depending on height).

Being out in the higher danger area, I wanted to provide some safety for those reviving at my place, so I used platforms as the 'flooring' of my infirmary. Someone revived and fell thru & got stuck on the truss that was holding up the roof. So, I had to go over and dismantle much of what I had built to let them out. VR's Infirmary had much the same issue. They also chose to use a different 'flooring' and if you revive there you would fall thru and get stuck as well. I reconfigured and rebuilt, VR placed a small flooring to prevent ppl falling thru theirs.

This should maybe be looked at tho as anyone else choosing to think outside the box and not use a floor or the ground, will also have an issue.

Would you be able to set up a situation like this on the Test Server? If I can reproduce it, it's much easier to check and fix the issue.

Yep, won't be a problem. I'll put something together to recreate them and post back when I have it built.

I've gone ahead and built two structures similar to the ones I know had issues, sorry for the delay in getting at it. I just built the basic parts, so there's no walls or anything to truly trap anyone in the first, but it'll give you something to test and see what we had issues with. If I had put walls around the bottom were on the original build, anyone falling thru that one would be completely trapped. If you need me to fully build the same things we had, just let me know and I can do that.

Both are side by side at the south wall of VR. z820 990/950 ish.

I will have to see about having someone dismantle the floor that was placed at VR's to fix the issue or rebuilding the other as I'd moved it to ground level to fix that one. I'll get on it and let ya know what happens with it.

Put in a ticket to have someone remove the 2x4 floor mat we'd put down at VR's infirmary so I could test if it was working...She promptly fell thru the beams upon porting to the coords I gave her (just a tad off of the coords of the mat where ppl port upon death) ....so we've left the little floor for now so we don't have anyone getting stuck. lol

Was also able to test the platform fallthru....not via the infirmary, but I have a platform right behind a totem that I often land on and fall thru when respawning. Figured if I fell thru there, it would also happen at an infirmary. Went out and ran into the mist, and landed in/fell thru my platform as usual when I respawned at my totem.

The Test Server has another minor update. If you get a chance, please check your infirmary again. I removed the grass mat there so that you spawn directly on the beam floor. It works fine for me.

Regarding falling through a floor when porting after death, is this next to your totem?

As for the platforms....I originally had the issue with the infirmary. I had built an infirmary with platforms for the floors to provide a safety area for those who spawned in there as it's out in a high/extreme danger area and wandering mutants are often seen. Without gates, the platforms gave them a place to regen health and stay safe. First person that used it fell thru tho and got caught in the truss. Since I had dismantled most of it to let them out, I just rebuilt it all to lower it to the ground and not require the truss. I can rebuild something similar for an infirmary again to test it, would need a guides help when done with the build to change my infirmary. Let me know if you want me to do this....I can get it done on test rather quickly I'm sure.

To test the platform issue tho, since I'd rebuilt the original one, I thought I could maybe test it out on my own totem, yes. I died and respawned at my own tribe totem which has a platform directly behind it. When I spawn at the totem, I should land on the platform if spawning behind the totem (I know there's a few spots to spawn at a tribe totem and it varies), but am always inside or next to it... This is the way it's always been. Not a big deal for me, I just run out. But, I do fall thru it.
