Creature Swimming
Large creatures walk under water

Might want to rethink your recent changes about creature swimming.

My tribe is in 904 on the Peace server and I have quite a deep river right outside the gate, I also have a 900 HP Shadow Bear that likes to wander around my area.

Problem is it no longer swims when crossing the river, instead it walks/runs across the river bottom, as a result you wont know it's there until it's too late.

Since the update I've seen small creatures swimming, but I don't remember seeing large creatures swimming.

Hi....

Was making a sweep of the map last night and saw the same. In fact I was by your place and not only the Bear but the Blue tipped Deers were doing the same. all along the east rim by the mist I saw this happening.

Hello,

Could you give me an exact location to check? I tested creatures at several rivers and the lake and they seemed alright.

Thanks!

Hi again...

sorry don't give exact location co-ords as it takes a bit of time to travel to these locations for me. all are on PvP server, all are large animals...small swim on top

Z904 from mist by where the rivers split south ( this is close to BJ's) shadow bear
Z864 right by Moogly's camp north side. big bear
Z703 by last river north by mist, was actually able to follow, almost on top of, a Canis who was under the water going north until we both got to a standing position by the shore where it finally aggroed on me

Peace server, Wasteland tribe, zone 904, leave the tribe through the West gate, once outside the tribe head North West and cross the river, that's more or less the same path across the river the Shadow Bear took.

After I posted this bug report I went looking for the bear, and found it underwater near the north shore of the river, so it looks like this bear wont swim in any part of the river in 904.

I'm thinking it's a creature size issue, bears at max HP are huge in size, and I'm pretty sure this is a maxed out female as she hasn't gained any HP in months (despite my best efforts).

I did spot a couple of black bears and a shadow bear swimming in the main N>S river in zone 823, but I also watched a 280 female black bear walk under water to cross one of the small rivers in that zone (2nd from the North, and just East of the road).

Just added screenshot I just took, that's the 900 Shadow bear just visible underwater

Ok, I see the problem is with specific creatures (mostly mutants) that need their bounds adjusted. This is something I need to do anyways. I have to double check the bounds on all creatures. I'll update this report when I patch the corrected bounds.

Thanks!
