    Time for a new computer

Here is what I am about to buy but would like to hear some opinions before I pull the trigger. Thinking Xsyon will be my mainstay for the life of this rig but I also play some games on steam like l4d2. Shooting for max settings at 1920x1200 res. A few things in particular I am curious about,

I have never build a SLI duel video card PC, was wondering if its really worth it or should I go with a single video card like I usually do.

If anyone has the GeForce GTX 470 would like to know what you think of it ( or them SLI).

How about the 6.0Gb/s hard drive, does it really make a difference over the 3gb/s drives?

Too bad no one commented. Oh well parts are on the way so I should have the system up and running next weekend hopefully. Guess I will see firsthand how well everything works : )

Sorry Paradox. I built my PC for the first time, it's challenging but worth it, and fun. Sorry don't know enough about hardware to provide feedback.

I have 3 GTX470' and love them. I have OC'ed them to what the FTW EVGA are running and they're kick ass.

I had Sli 8800 GTX's for sometime and loved the frame boost in most games running it. I would say go for SLI with the GTX470's, you won't be disappointed.

To save money and get SSD drives I went with an i7 930 and Oc'ed it to 4.5GHz on water. I have 12gigs of DDR3 1600 Muskin and a EVGA Classified 3-Way SLI Mobo. So far everything is kicking ass.

Your setup seems good. If you have any Q's let me know. Oh, make sure you get a PSU to spec. Check Nvidia's site http://www.slizone.com/object/slizone_build_psu.html and they will list the PSU's that go with the sli setup and cards you are looking to get.
