    This section lists each Materia and explains the powers and abilities, regarding magic that i want to be suggested to be added to Xsyon.

    Argonic Shield

    spell name and levels:
    Level 1 Aronic shield
    Level 2 Argonic barrier
    Level 3 Argonic Reflect
    Level 4 Argonic Wall
    Level 5 --Upgraded all and mastered--

    STATUS CHANGES: STRENGTH +02 VITALITY -01 MAGIC +02
    MAGIC DEF +01 MAXHP -05% MAX MP +05%

    Argonic Shield protects you from physical attacks, Argonic Barrier does the same
    in regards to magical attacks, and argonic Reflect will bounce back a spell
    cast on you. Note that two characters with argonic Reflect can bounce a
    spell back between them for a long time. Wall acts like argonic sheild
    plus argonic barrier.

    QUAKE

    Level 1 Pounce
    Level 2 Strike
    Level 3 EarthQuake
    Level 4 -- -- 40000

    STATUS CHANGES: STRENGTH -01 MAGIC +01 MAXHP -02% MAXMP +02%

    When used, causes earth-element damage (x1...x3).

    Escape allows you to flee a battle. Remove will instantly kill all
    targets or remove a great amount of health.

    Life will revive one person with 1/4th their total HP. Life 2
    revives them with full HP.

    DEATHBLOW

    Level 1 D.Blow
    Level 2 Supeaccuracy

    Deathblow lets you perform an attack that will either miss or inflict
    double damage (50% chance of it hitting). You can ensure that it
    hits by giving your character a weapon with high accuracy (Vincent's
    Shortbarrel has a 255 accuracy, which is the highest possible score.
    He'll never miss a Deathblow attempt!) +1 bonus to Luck when worn.

    Turn a killed enemy into an item. Your attack with this materia will
    cause greatly reduced damage unless you're using an Ultimate Weapon,
    though.

    THROW

    Level 1 Dagger
    Level 2 Coin
    Level 3 Knife

    Throw lets you toss any weapon at an enemy.
    The damage done is the attack difference times 10. The Coin ability
    lets you select how much Gil you want to toss at your enemy. Every
    1000 coins inflict 100 points of damage, up to 9999 damage. +1 bonus
    to Vitality when worn.

    SUMMON

    Level 1 Call of nature.
    Level 2 Call O' speed

    Call and summon animals to fight beside you, once the levels increase you'd
    earn greater chances of calling more.

    Level 2 +15%
    Level 3 +25%
    Level 4 +36%
    Level 5 +43%

    If attacked, the person enabling this ability will counterattack a certain
    amount of the time. It will defend you from % amount of hits.

    Level 4 7%
    Level 5 8%

    You'll earn more l00t after winning/killing in a battle when this ability is active.
    You'll get a +1- +10 bonus to Luck when this is active.

    HP PLUS

    Level 1 +10%
    Level 2 +20%
    Level 3 +30%
    Level 4 +40%
    Level 5 +50%

    Your maximum HP amount increase dramatically faster overtime, enabling a faster re-heal time.

    Level 1 Small
    Level 2 Medium
    Level 3 Large

    When active, you maximum HP and MP scores are switched depending on the
    level of amount chosen.

    LONG RANGE
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Level 1 -- 0 Mythril Mine, on the
    Level 2 -- 80000 ledge above the vine.

    When active, you can attack from a distance with better accuracy. You can
    also attack out-of-reach enemies (usually the flying sort), with
    close-ranged bows.

    SPEED PLUS

    Level 1 +10%
    Level 2 +20%
    Level 3 +30%

    Your Speed increases when this is active.

    When active, the person with this ability active has a percent chance
    of stepping forward quite and unknown by most people.
    This will make you barely seeable/invisible for an amount of time.

    Whaaa?
    Can't combat just be simple, I hit you, I hurt you. Not, I hit you, but wait, do you have 6 thousand different abilities active so as to take away from the skill and fun of the combat system?

    Calm down I haven't called the police on your or anything. I was just saying that I think the combat system for Xsyon should be simple and shouldn't have a mass of skills where "If I don't have magic swirly barrier 3000 I won't be able to pvp".

    It's got nothing to do with that.
    It's basically ability's that certain classes get, such as mages get Aronic shield which protects them from incoming mage attacks.

    Bows get LONG RANGE, which enables them to be able to shoot further distances.
    It's better then just hitting people with the same emotes.

    You can summon animals and heal friends/foes.

    I was under the impression from the fact that it was a skill based progression that there would be no classes, meaning if I want to be an assassin but still use a little magic I could.

    I do have to agree with Joe on this tho I would prefer a simpler combat system, being primarily twitch based it's gonna be a bit more challenging than most MMO's anyway.
