    What is YOUR tribal style?

What I mean by this is, How will your tribe operate?

    Examples: Socialist, communist, republic, democracy...

Game mechanics have a bearing on how each of these types will play or need to be altered to fit.

Another Example: Totem switch that allows leadership of a tribe to look in and move items from even private player storage.

Say you feel that your tribe is socialist in nature, but the leaders turn on that switch. Does that mean that now you are actually more communist?

Further example: You believe your tribe is a true democracy, but since there is an actual leader ( chief ) and tribal elders, are you a republic really? Or maybe somethings else?

I am really curious How different tribes are planning on running their tribes, since it plays into trade agreements, and alliances.

    SO...

    What YOU gonna do?

I'm curious WHY this type of info would be kept secret?

I mean unless there is no play to interact with anyone else, or a leader would want to keep their tribe in the dark?

I think you switched terms. Communistic system wouldn't have leadership everything would be shared(no private bins), any common goal would be a democratic decision, You'd do your job to supply other members and get everything you need instead. It might work in very small communities of good friends.
Socialistic system is something that I experienced IRL. It sucks. Communistic ideals are forced on people by government, government controls all goods and gives you what you need(if it's there)

I personaly would like to see republic system, where members work for themselves and leadership uses members to acomplish tribal goals. Tax and quests would fit well in this system.

Most tribes will be probably some form of republic or oligarchy were leadership sets goals and members work to acomplish them.

I seriously doubt anyone will tell you what system is in their tribe.

No one wants to reveal any info about their tribe to public, especialy enemies, no matter how harmless it is.

Totem switch that allows leadership of a tribe to look in and move items from even private player storage.
We discussed this in tribe and this is really a good option for any tribe to use. For example, your main leathercrafter (who has stored all his tools and craft needs in his personal bins) gets sick, takes a 3 week vacation or just disappears without a word, someone needs to be able to get into those bins to get those supplies in order for another crafter to take over.

As for play style, out of game we are Wessex, a medieval style rp guild. Ingame, currently we are a co-operative ( no one person saying this is this and that is that).

I see no reason why someone should keep their 'command structure' a secret. It will be found out rather quickly once game starts.
