    Signature and Avatar controls

I don't normally complain about this sort of thing, however being forced to download (close to) 3mb of data for one persons signature seems that it is required.

[strike]In installing phpBB3 I discovered that this software just bites when it comes to forum controls.[/strike] Then I found out its not phpBB3.

[strike]After installing a problematic Kunena, I see the same issues for Avatar and Signature controls.[/strike] Then there is no option :angry:

So my suggestion is to find a common ground that allows large signatures that allow creativity. As 3mb of data for simply allowing a person to have individualism is far to much in my view.

    Re:Signature and Avatar controls

I plan on switching to a New forum system that has been in the works far longer. Although I have not looked at avatar and sig controls yet the over all system is far better. However, I'm waiting for Jooky's go ahead to make the switch.

Until then, it is what it is and it's not a huge problem as there are only a handful of people with gif images.

After the game is released, the forums won't need any use.
Everything you need will be ingame..

Hope that isn't true, after all Recruitments will always be an ongoing thing.

And what doesn't stop people from recruiting ingame?

Once a tribe grows people will start joining... pretty simple and is straight to the obvious.

Sure, a new player will likely want a place to start, however that place to start is likely to start way before they even purchase a game subscription.

The forums will stay a place where nonmembers and other people can discuss the game.

Yay for me using a browser with content policies that allow me to block an image from being downloaded.
