Xsyon Time Crystal Challenge

Legend has it that Founder's Isle was once home to a brilliant yet tortured scientific mind. Although it was feared that all traces of his work were lost, we're excited to announce that local scavengers have uncovered what appears to be the remnants of a the great man's testing laboratory.

Detailed notebooks have been found at the site outlining a number of curious and bizarre experiments which were to be undertaken with very specific instructions, designed to push man to his very limits. Though the writing is erratic at best, we speculate that this was some attempt to engineer a super-race. To what end, we will never know.

It seems that 'test subjects' were to be enclosed in sealed rooms and their skill, wit and ingenuity pitted against the harshest of environments. Only the best and bravest would triumph, yet we imagine that great rewards would be bestowed upon the victors.



To learn more, we have decided to resurrect the experiment in order to better understand this puzzling yet fascinating work. Will you rise to the challenge?

== Rules ==

This will be a rolling event, played out over a number of weeks.

A team of 4 survivors will undertake a set of Challenge Rooms comprising a combination of physical, mental and skill tasks. Successful completion of a task will earn your team a 'Time Crystal' for each member.

Once all the tasks have been attempted, your team will enter the final timed challenge room - the amount of time dictated by the amount of Time Crystals collected. Success in this challenge room will determine your teams final score.

We will maintain a score-board, and the highest-scoring team will receive a grand prize once the event is concluded. All who take part will receive a smaller reward.

You will need to bring only 1 weapon of your choice - no clothes or containers are necessary, as instructions stipulate that all items must be decontaminated, and so these will be provided.

For best results, we recommend your team consists of a mixture of combat and craft-orientated players.

If you would like to enlist a team, please sign up below stating the names of your 4 team members. We will endeavor to schedule a time which best suits your members. We are hoping to run the first event on Sunday 16th at 8pm GMT.

If you would like to participate but don't have a team, you can also post below to recruit other members of the community. Teams do not need to be from the same tribe.
