Friendly hello from a new member of the community

Just wanted to say a quick hello to the community. I'm going to be delving into the game for the first time (was on for 5 mins this morning but that doesn't count) after work but had a few questions.

I chopped down a tree and was surprised that it actually fell down. Is that tree permanently down? If so, how do we get more trees?

How long do items I leave on the ground stay in game?

Where do I store some of the stuff I collect? Anything like a storage container? Will that disappear?

I'm about to watch some of Saintbobs tutorials.

Anyways, looking forward to living a second life here on Xyson.

Isn't it only disabled for the beta ? Trees will regrow when you keep the stomp. And in the future we will see agriculture to make new tree's
