Its only the download server that is new. The game server is the same but not lagged down by people getting the client.
That is my understanding at least.

Bigger, Fast servers, yes thats awesome. New server could mean someone just bought a new Dell and is trying to run the game off it through their home internet connection :-p

deffinently much better. I played for a bit this morning with no issues. Ping was constant 40ms. No spikes.
