So does this mean animals only spawn in unclaimed areas? If so, why?

Well, if we all leave out some trash bins, we might at least keep the bears, coyotes, and racoons...just say goodbye to bambi the attack deer.

Yeah - no shit, I went to go afk once and nearly got eaten by a deer... glad I took one more look at my screen.
