Way to lower view distance further?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if there was a way to lower my view distance further than the minimum. 512 is usually a lot higher than I have my settings at, And I don't mind a small view distance, if it speeds up my fps.

I'm not sure, but if you are at the minimum I would say that is the lowest you can go. You don't wanna be able to see the guy coming in front of you about to kill you?
