I just started this game recently, and I was wondering how safe items are in my homestead.

If I have baskets set to private in my homestead is it possible for people to come and take them? Or take the whole basket even?

What is the stealing I hear of?

What about if I have a stack of grass, can people take it?

Thankyou.

No.

There is looting if you are killed in pvp.

it doesn't matter waht you set your baskets to even if you set public- inside your settlement nobody can open them.

also, people cannot pick stuff up like logs, or cut trees etc inside your totem area.

To some up what they said, anything you want to keep, ground it in your tribe territory. Thats the safest place (for the time being).
