Optimal resolution to play in?

I started out playing in 1440X900 and for the most part things looked solid but I had to click under some of the buttons for them to register. I switched to a non widescreen format 1152X864 to see if it was better ad the buttons worked better for me but thought I'd ask here if anyone had any suggestions.

I like to play full screen so the 1152X864 feels odd to me :D

In game i like playing in window mode 1440X900 works great for me.

I have had a bunch of people tell me full screen has issues generally.

I play in windowed mode my desktop is set to 1440x900 and my resolution for the client is set to 1280x800

If your resolution is set to the same as your desktop there's some issues with buttons not lining up properly so you have to go one step lower.

I play at my desktop resolution, but the buttons are only off when in windowed mode.
