itll take a good while before u see mutated animals. They just dont instantly turn, it happens over time as they enter/exit the mist :-P

Animals an mutants grow in power an size overtime and fights so maybe you found a baby mutant if it was so easy :).. I will post a legendary bear or mutant screenshot at some point hehe
