Greetings Survivors,

It has always amazed us, how players have created such magnificent creations within Xsyon.
And we would like to acknowledge and celebrate this by creating another Architecture Contest.
Starting from the 1st of February Survivors will have 1 month to alter/re-design, create and expand their Tribes to show them off in all their glory!
The Closing date is the 1st of March 2012.

We will be looking for…

Originality
Uniqueness
Design
Layout
Beautification

The Contest will be separated into 2 groups, Small Tribes and Large Tribes.
Small tribes are considered 1-5 active members.
Large Tribes are considered 6+ active members.

There will be a large Prize for the winning tribe in each group.

The last Architecture Event was outstanding, can the Survivors Amaze us again?

If you want to take part Please send me a private message to my inbox with the following details...

The event will be judged on the 4th of March during normal Event time at 12pm PST.

I would like to enter, but with the introduction of 8x8 roofs, my homestead is under a major renovation. When is round 3?

GuideRaguel

Round 3 will start perhaps the 2nd week in march. Or I might wait till the end of March to see if we have any new architecture recipes that have been released.

GuideRaguel,

Would you consider pushing round 2 back a couple of weeks instead? I too have a lot of terrafoming and rebuilding to do thanks to the larger roof items. Do round 3 in another month or three after your team patches and debugs the next group of items:p

So, who won? Or was the deadline pushed back?

I'm a bit confused as to how this works. When do they view the tribe (and who are they?) :p I hoped we would be "showing" our handy work because there are certain things a casual passer by may not see but I guess they know what they are looking for. :D

I hope they do the showing differently than last time. I hope they teleport people to each city to check it out. I know a lot of people didnt get to see the cities.

So when do they do this thing? I would love to see everyone's projects.

I love the pics, but I feel you missed some of the most important aspects of Aftermath's Citadel....which is the buildings are inside the structure, which is self-contained living area, with 2 locking upper apartments, 2 open door upper storage/workshops, and 4 lower level open storage/workshops. Not just the fortress outer structure and staircase (ramps to top)

Everyone put a lot of work into it. WOW good jobs.

Deacon, they took everyone around and showed off each totem. It was really fun.

Yes yours was one of my favorite for sure. I even took the Aspen lined road around down by the lake to the bridge. You did a great job on all of that. We used Aspens to line our roads also =)

Hello everyone,

Wow! What a fantastic turn out for the contest, and how amazing are all these tribe designs!?

They are all unique and very interesting, it took a very long time to decide who would win in each group.
It was a very hard decision to make, but we made one... finally!

The Large Tribe (6+) Winner.

Industrial Strength Boot Camp!

The Small tribe (1-5) Winner.

Mount Rose Forest Service!

A huge congratulations to them, we will be in touch with Tribe Leaders shortly to discuss prizes.

I would just like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone that took part, and if you did not win don't worry the next Architecture contest will be done slightly different to this and will hopefully mean more tribes will get prizes next time.

You really have paved the way for future tribe designs!
Truly Amazing!

Congrats to Koal and IS. I also want to give props to Deacon and the Aftermath Homestead. If there was a prize for complexity, the Citadel ranks high.

Gratz to winners. There were indeed some great buildings in all the entries, and I suspect a few that didnt get entered as well. Be interesting to see future ones as well....with new schemes....comes new ideas. I too loved the tree house idea...hadnt even crossed my mind to do something like that. I had seen IS working on their place, and knew it would be impressive.....the mere thought of building something like that is daunting.

anyways, Gratz to winners, and cudos to all entries

Thanks

Congrats to IS, awsome build, and to Koal, that is the kind of place I would live :)

And thanks to the Guides for dragging us all around the globe, that was a blast getting to see all these places up close.

Spectactular entries, all of you. I was jaw-gobbed when I found I had won. There were so many other great homesteads I personally would have chosen over my own. Great job IS, pro work as I would expect nothing else from you. Grats to all the participants. It took gall, talent, commitment and TIME from all of you. We all are likely to be featured at some point, somewhere on the internets now.
