Players in game

Hey Guys,
i'm very interested in this game. But 40$ are quite much so just want to ask first : how many Players are online at the same time? I#m asking because i dont want to play most of the time alone. Thanks for answers ;-)

It's difficult to judge really. Large land mass and not every talks in global. I wont say there are hundreds of us online at once though. Suggest playing with a friend or joining a southern tribe, as there are more people in the south.
