how to drop items

got a wooden log on my back and don't kno how to drop it. how to drop it?

Hit P (hot key for packs window), then left click drag the log icon from the bundle slot, and release it over the screen anywhere which is not a window. Like on the world screen. It should give you an error message or place it under your feet.
