Questions on Stats and Skinning

Hi,

two questions:

do i gain stats if i keep working a skill that's already at max?

does knife QL matter for skinning? i.e. will i get higher QL fur/leather with a better knife?

Yes and Yes.

Skinning is highly effected by the QL of the blade for the QL of the results, also second tier skinning. (Like skinning a hide into leather and fur)

The only time you don't gain stats is when you are on a non sub account and your skill is 30+
