Armor Defense Values

Hi ,

how can i see the defense values of Armors ? Do they have any defense at all ?

you can see a kind of defence in your combat chat tab when you get a hit.

sure they do have.
weak ---> heavy : grass, cloth, leather, revenant (looting only, not craftable), bone

the quality of the armor decide how much defense it will gain. higest quality will provide the best protection.

Yes, you see the defense of the critter/person you are hitting. To see your defense, you have to do some PvP and ask the person who hits you what your defense adjustment is.

ingame chat nobody knew that

so that means grass armor with same quality like bone is much weaker.. make sence to me..

Also to let you know that all types of armor in the same category are the same defense.
So 2 leather chest armors have the same defense as long as they are the same QL. Even if the bonuses on them say something else, the defense is a different factor. ALL armor of the same type have the same defense.

Also remember that some slots are higher defense than other slots like helm and chest vs gloves or neck. Helm and chest would have a higher base defense (assuming QL is equal) than gloves or neck.

Also some slots can only have a few types of armor in them. Like undershirt.
