What games you playing? Your not playing current FPS or action games with one card with max settings. If you do your frames per second will diminish greatly (20's or lower). Example: Crysis, Metro 2033, Bad Company 2, etc.

One card can handle most MMO's since they are not as graphic intensive as let's say Metro 2033 which will eat multi-card setups. I am sure Xsyon can be played on max settings with one card just fine.

The post wants to know if it can support multiple cards. Thus recognizing multiple cards, meaning higher settings/features and double FPS or more for those who have more than one card.

It also depends on resolution. At 1024x768 (768 Kpixel) most card are ok, but when you crank up monitor resolution (1920x1080 - 2025 Kpixel) the difference becomes evident. Even worse with a multi-monitor setup...

And not everyone has money to throw around so buying a second cheaper card rather than buying a more expensive single card can be more cost effective.

Exactly, bps goes up exponentially whenever you raise resolution.
