We have a few door varieties and gates for keeping things and people out. Now I propose we make some doors for accessing lower areas.

Therefor, I propose: Trapdoors! Hatches! Bulkheads!

There would be great to keep lower areas both restricted, and looking nice! They could give new options for cleaner or fancier looking basements or lower levels for floors. The bulkheads would also be great for outdoor access to basements, so you don't need to dig out a whole ugly thing that needs to remain accessible to everyone.
