Did the place you evacuated to have decent Internet and not too much smoke? Did the bears get into your house while you were gone?
For a couple days I was picturing all of South Tahoe as a blackened junk piles. OK, I was picturing some guy down in 659 printing out a bunch of Pioneer Water Barrel recipes and hiding them under large metal plates.
I'm headed back home this weekend. Everything is fine with the house. It'll just take a few days of back and forth trips to get everything back in order.
