Fix: Patcher: "Error: Could not Create a File"

If you get ""Error: Could not Create a File" message with the Launcher and if your running Win Vista/ Win7 you will need to run the Xsyon Launcher in Administrator Mode.

You can launch it in administrator mode by right clicking the icon and click "Run as Administrator".

If you want a more permanent solution, you can edit the properties of the shortcut. Right click and go the "Properties". Under the tab compatibility, in the box that is labeled Privilege Level, check "Run this program as an administrator". You will also have the choice of changing the setting for all users.

So what do I do if it says "Incorrect launcher version" ?

The new version is a redownload, it cannot be patched from last week's version. Did you uninstall the old Xsyon, then download and install the new?

check your email for the update email with the latest link

Yeah, it was in my spam folder. Check yours.
