From my limited experience: chose basketry as crafting skill. You will need containers rather sooner than later and basketry is (to the best of my knowledge) the only craftskill that can make containers right away.
You are right about this, but if he chooses basketry he won't be able to use any of his other skills due to lack of tools. So its the best to start with toolcrafting, that way he can craft all of the tools for every skills (will be very hard though, lot of grinding till he get the proper recipes). When he got the recipe for a lasher and a weaver he will be able to craft baskets.Quote:
