I'd like to see a system where a recipe's type could be determined at a glance. Either with a distinguishable drawing or via color coding, ie, all boneworking recipes would have a blue tint, all basketry recipes would have a green tint, all toolworking recipes would be red, etc.
Would make sorting and locating specific recipes in bins and other containers much less tedious.
P.S. I'm speaking about scavenged recipes as inventory objects, not learned recipes :)
