Quartz and Flint comes from gathering resources, not scavengigng. Been finding the same scavenging items as before, except found 3 recipes.

I've heard other people say that they've found flint scavenging on rock terrain so it could be that the OP actually did scavenge those items. No reason why both methods couldn't work.

Of course it could just be people using the word "scavenge" inappropriately when they are actually resource gathering.
