Can you make items like nails yet ?

Or do you spend hours and hours and hours searching trash for them while collecting tons of junk you have to store and sort ?

I never liked you couldn't just make what you need.

Similar to Wurmonline. Mine ore >> Smelt >> use anvil >> make nails
Not search trash for days and days hoping find enough of what you need

Hey Wulfgar,

You can find nails by scavenging or sort metal, though scavenging will net you more. Also different junk piles give more of a certain item than others. So you might have a better chance at another junk pile than the one you are looking in.

Ok so "NO" you still cant craft items you need. what I was wondering

Hopeful one day they can add mining and more crafted items such Nails etc..

No, you can't craft nails but as you get higher scavenging skill you will find more qty of nails and as I said, some areas net you different items than others.

Correct the answer is No.

I believe they do plan on adding another system to the game for crafting some of the basic items (like hide tanning) however, I dont think it will be anytime in the next year or so.
