Its going to take a good bit more finesse to place the railings right but I really appreciate your putting them in!
NOW I can finish my bridge!!
I was able to complete my step pyramid project after the patch. Several ramps and platforms that had been supported by trusses prior to the patch needed support beams. I was able to move the beams through the ghost projects easily, but it was hard to target them to complete once they were in place. This shouldn't be a problem in the future as the beams will go down first.
Every time I log in some of the parts that were green yesterday are red today. Has happening the last 3 or 4 times I have logged in. A part is good one day but not the next. I also have to move a few things into NEW positions that were good the day before.
Beams collide differently 8x8 trusses than 4x4 trusses. The valid/pending position for a beam is 3.7-3.8 m above an 8x8 truss (support beam is imbedded within the cross beams of the truss). For a 4x4 truss, the valid position is +4 m. To span between 8x8 and 4x4 trusses, the trusses have to be at different levels. Spanning 4x4 trusses with beams then laying floors on top means the floors on the beams are above the floors on the trusses, so the 8x8 collision would be preferred.

Can you reproduce that issue easily? It wouldn't be based on time, but on logging off and back on. Can you reproduce this:
1) Move some parts around so they are in valid locations.
2) Log off and back in.
3) Are any parts now in invalid locations?
If you can reproduce this with those simple steps, please give me your exact location.
Also, has anyone else experienced this issue?

You're right. I will adjust the 4x4 trusses.
I'm also going to add better beams for spanning trusses. The current 8 meter beams are best for within trusses, but for spanning trusses, it's better if the beams are a bit longer (8.8 meters) with 0.4 meters on each that rests on a truss and a full 8 meter span. I've made these already and am testing them tonight.

yes, one of my tribemember had a building with 3 stories, all was still ghosts and supported, after one of the updates recently some parts tured red. she already tried to move them around but the parts wont turn green. i can tell the exact location as soon as i log in today.Quote:

Also, does the data on the Test Server include the complete building you are talking about, or should I copy over more recent data to check this?
At that location I see a building and all parts are correct.

everything was supported before the new recipes like rails and 2x4 floors was implemented last few days.

Could you do the following for me:
1) Log in to the Test Server and let me know if the parts are red or yellow at that location.
2) Take a screenshot so that I know exactly what you are looking at.
3) Move one architecture part. It will refresh all nearby parts and check if they are in valid or invalid positions. Does this change anything?
Some changes were made with the last patch to prevent floating parts inside trusses. This may have affected your construction and things might need to be slightly adjusted. If it's difficult to make adjustments, a Guide can assist you with this.
First though, I want to check the situation on the Test Server and I'd like to make sure I'm looking at exactly what you see.

okey, its not bug, its only this, i build truss 8x8 and roofs, and in last patch you dont need beam, but now you need and all constructions what i have from before need now this beam to support roofs and that is why its all red, all is okey, only need rebuild my house

1. the parts was red, they are still on the mainserver. Hal changed it on the testserver and she added the new beams to get them supported. but that was just another solution, not the problem i confirmed. if you are still interested to take a look into the issue please check the same location on the mainserver.Quote:

one of my tribemates autolearned all "rail 1" recipes when the new patch was added to the mainserver. i didnt learn them, same as 2 other players i was asking. was the rails part of the recipes you should learn without inspiration/blueprints or not?

Regarding parts that were once valid but are now invalid (red), this is most likely due to changed with 8x8 trusses and the addition of beams. Beams are now required to support walls within trusses. If there is a specific situation where you think that parts should be valid but currently are not valid, I need an exact location on the Test Server to check this. I can't run proper tests on the Main Servers because I can only debug code while running and restarting the game on the Test Server or my Local Server.

i thought all the old supports still work in the same way and the beam is just a additional way to build with new possibilitys. if thats been changed it makes sense and there is no bug. everything was suported by trusses before and was valid.Quote:

When the 8x8 trusses were first patched out, walls or floors could be supported by the center of the truss also, which was not good as it could allow for parts floating in space above the center of a truss. This was fixed and the beams were added so that players could properly place objects above 8x8 (and now on the Test Server 16x16) meter trusses.

Only just seen this, I logged in after this lot went live and auto learned all of the 2x4 decks and all of the 2x2x2 ramps, the only Gadu I got was the deck and ramp, Arch at the time was 99.Quote:
