Bamati Patchwork Wall - mat requirements
Wasn't sure whether to post this here, it's not a bug per se, but....possibly something to look into.
Was reminded today why I don't use the Bamati Patchwork walls. Got lots of ideas to use it on....then I see the mat requirements so I make something else work.
To build one 2m wall, I would need a total of 11 long logs. Plus twine and nails, but it's the number of logs needed that makes me turn around and cancel it out. The 4m ...needs roughly 22 logs per wall! 16 long wood posts (16 logs) and 8 medium wood sheets (another 6 logs).
When comparing it to the other walls the required mats just seem high and out of place. The Pioneer 2m wall needs only 2 long logs and some nails, the Banaya log wall takes 4 I believe, even the Bamati lalag wall (which is nearly identical in looks except for the bracing poles) only requires 2 long logs and 2-3 short logs. The Bamati Ply roof 4x4 only requires 9-10 logs total. Those numbers all seem right, but the patchwork wall, not so much.
I like the look of the patchwork wall and would use it much more if I didn't have to clear a zone of trees just to build a structure using that BP. ;) Just thought it maybe warranted a look. If it's as its supposed to be, please close this out, but if not, hopefully some adjustments could be made.
