Make it possible for any player to have ALL blueprints/schemes/patterns they need to learn.
Currently it is very difficult to scavenge Architecture blueprints, much harder than cart ones.

Perhaps the best way, would be to improve the mist traders mechanic.

Make it where each week it would rotate through each arch type, ( pioneer, then mason, etc... )
dropping the complete set on the trade totem. After a week those disappear, and the next set is put up.

Also need to look at how much cash players have and average the prices based upon the low end not the wealthy veteran players.

Since there is already a method for some BP's to be dropped on the trade totems, this would probably be much easier to implement.

Cash can still be used and it would give new players more option to get cash, like from vets with alot of cash, and from scaving.
I know cash can still be found, have been testing it and its not hard to get 500-100 in a short amount of time if a player will consistently work at it.

There is already a limit to what each player can learn in the various skills, I am capped at 306 BP's I can learn in arch for instance.
this should stay in place to help players to band together, since not everyone can do everything.

What I don't want to see if literally everyone be absolutely self sufficient. We don't need a game full of hermits, since this is after all an MMO

Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion

I don't know if I can agree with this. Each week you can currently choose which tribe you want to trade with at the mist trader, so if you're after a specific BP, you can set it for that and wait for it to pop up. You can also run around and use other mist traders, so if yours is set to the scrappers, but you're looking for a mason, you can go find a tribe with the mason set. I also think most of the BPs are priced decent from the mist traders. For money, I started a new toon, and spent a few hours scaving, after which I'm at $700.

The idea of limiting how many "things" you can make is a nice mechanic for the simple reason of it strongly encourages you to interact with others. My only suggest on this would be maybe have a lower set of tools where you can make all the tools, with the trade off of they're pretty bad. This would at least let newer players have a fighting chance if they wanted to be isolated.

You already can do the tool part.

Because there are 3 tiers to tools, you can unlearn master/artisan recipes and easy learn every tool (basic) in the game. Plus many artisan and master recipes also. Even with 0 in both stats.

I get what you are saying, but currently it does not show the entire list of BP's just randomly selected HIGH level ones from the mist trader. My suggestion would change that to all in they type getting dropped on the totem

Maybe I didn't word it the best, or there's a mechanic I'm unaware of (I am still pretty new myself).

Let's take waterskin as an example. You still need to be level 40 in tool crafting to inspire a water skin, correct? As a new player, just getting into the game this could be rather difficult as they simply try to survive. Another is a fishing rod, I believe level 20 or 25? If you're alone and just getting into the game, fishing is one of the earliest, easiest forms of food, but once you break it you suddenly realise you need to grind tool crafting or find a way to barter for a rod. My suggestion was simply have a very low quality tool you know from day 1 until you work your skills up, or learn about joining a tribe, bartering etc.

I was fortunate when I started, in that I had help. I would have been totally and completely lost had I not had someone to bug about making me simple survival tools early on. This is all dependant on the fact that I'm unaware of a way to learn these early on, and if that's the case, a new player might also not know about it until it's too late.

Basically, it sounds like it's currently too difficult to get specific architecture blueprints. They are too expensive or not available on the Mist Traders and too rare to scavenge.

I'll think of the best adjustments to make so that players can get blueprints easier.

Thanks!
