Real rain-proof roofs
Increase the protected area underneath a roof structure from rain
I know the roof protects you and your items from rain as long as it within the 4 meters below the roof. Since many of us are building multi-story buildings and you're implementing the comfort and weather effects soon, please increase the rain-free area below the roof (to 16 meters?) so we can protect our stuff with one roof structure above.

I know we can build the roof structures on top of each other, but the camera clipping on the 4 meter roof is horrible and many of us like taller buildings with high ceilings.

Why 16m below? If you are under a roof you should be protected from rain. Haha

Technically rain never falls perfectly vertically (Otherwise you'd find a lot of flues and chimneys wouldn't work very well at keeping weather out. Therefore there would be a maximum height a roof would protect you, but I can't be stuffed working out what that height actually is.

Needless to say, this is a game and I'm happy for anything under a roof, no matter how high, to protect you.

Technically, you have walls to stop sideways rain too.

Even though (Many ?) players are doing multistorey buildings the game does not officially support multistorey building yet.

All multistorey buildings constructed so far have been made by players finding ways around the current arch system.
I wouldnt say exploits or bugs but players ARE circumventing the current implemented system to create such buildings.

Its seems odd then to request a buff for something that is not officially supported.

Right now roofs only protect the first floor under a roof.

Why waste Xsyons time coding something now which will only have to be re-coded when the game development turns to actually
implementing Multi-storey arch.

Also where you do stop ? you ask for 16m thats 4 floors what about players with more then that ?

Just enjoy your multistorey as it is, you've gotten around the current arch system to create it ;p

Let xsyon deal witht that at the time when he is actually coding the new arch system when ever that will be.
