Gathering Until Full/Stop
Keep gathering until you stop it, are full or out of energy.

Many actions in Xsyon are doing over and over. Like gathering rock, or harvesting grass.

Is there a way you can make some of these actions keep going until you tell it to stop without having to right click the resource window each action?

Example actions would be like
Gathering Grass
Gathering Rocks
Gathering Scrap x type
Gathering Seeds/Cones
Gathering Twigs

I'm not sure I fully understand this. Rocks I get as you can just stand in one spot and with an open bag you can pick them till you're fully encumbered but other resources you need to move after gathering 4. Oh wait yes I do. Let's say I'm picking grass so I click grass once and the game picks 4, or however many there are in that spot, and then stops till I do something with the grass and move to the next spot.

So for sand and rocks it's a huge click saver and for other resources you save 3 clicks per resource spot.

Would/do you see this extending to crafting? For example, using grass again, you click craft twine and the game just makes as much as it can or that you can carry.

Back to your suggestion I'm not sure whether or not I like it. On the one hand I like saving my fingers and mouse but on the other I like to have control over how much I pick. Sand and rocks are a good example. I'm in the wild and collecting rock, every time I have 10 rocks I put them into my cart so if one of those super quiet bears sneaks up on me I can run and be able to get away.

Crafting is already fine with batches. I believe.
The rock thing you can still stop at 10 and move them into a cart. Hit H and your actions stop. Better yet. Just move them while you're picking up another rock. This would save a lot of the clicking. This game you do 1000s of actions saving your wrist and clicking that much helps. Most people I know would set up a simple auto clicker to do this type of action. But it's much better if it's an in game system so people done get in trouble for macroing.

I'll think about what works best. I do want to simplify all actions like this once I'm done with the creature updates.

I would love to add to the list farming as well.

Like pulling weeds, pests, fertilizer.

I think a better solution would be to allow tools held to collect extra resources:
--picks for rocks
--shovels for sand
--scythe/sickle for grass

Say 3 to 10 resources for action, based on quality of tool and resource skill.

Man, that would be awesome. I would love to see both done. Make it like a shovel is done, where it uses up the tool.

What I'm looking to do is save the hassle of clicking so much and the boredom of it.
