The client becomes unresponsive and no amount of waiting allows the client to catch up with outstanding actions however when you close the client and re log back in, the actions have occured. The client seems unable to re establish a connection. In the past the client would eventually catch up. This seems to occur even with the smallest amount of lag now. It's like it's losing it's connection or forever waiting for a response from the server it never receives. Relog is only option.
