After watching newbie panic in chat I was thinking a Apple tree would help keep newbies from starving. Could be harvested from the resource window. As fulfilling as foraged plants but easier to obtain. Just something to stave off death while the grind fishing enough to catch some food.

I think some of the panic comes from returning players who don't get the safe from hunger / thirst period actual new players get.

However, if it's really a problem, a much easier solution is for me to allow more raw items to be edible (like before) and require them to be cooked.
