Practice Mode - Crafting

Similar to Star wars galaxies , and now divergence online could we get a tick box for practice mode when crafting.
When this box is ticked the crafted item is automatically deleted therefore no more manual deleting of unwanted items. A slight increase in xp gain could be added while in this mode.

A salvaging skill could be done instead but would require more work to implement.

I'm not going to vote yes or no yet, because I'm worried it will encourage macroing.

I do agree that it would be better to have a salvaging skill that allows people to bring down crafted items for basic raw material.

I grind with a basket on my back and then destroy the basket. Then i only have to delete one thing.

I actually would love the ability to scavenge tools for useful parts to make other things. Even if it was another gui that i brought up and then put the tool/thing into and then hit scavenge and poof some ingredients. Even better would be the option to select what i wanted to try and pull out of the item with the suggested gui.



As far as the macroing is concerned we really should be purposing solutions to potential pitfalls other players suggestions. A easy solution would be to use the same style GUI as the resource window that pops when you attempt to scavenge an item with a list of the items you can attempt to scavenge out of that item in random order. This way the player would have to visually choose what to try and recover, Then add a chance to fail roll on all attempt to harvest from that item.

I think having crafting stations that allow for stacking more items to craft and allow for practice mode (discarding materials instead of creating actual new objects) would be fine. It could allow players to chat or organize inventory or whatever while the process runs.

Sounds good Jordi, i was just after an initial quick fix :) but fleshing it out further would be nice.
