Global Chat On Creation
I have a few suggestions I would like to address. This being the first of a few.
Being lazy such as I am I nestled my Homestead very near Founders Isle Pve server. Homesteading in that location has allowed me to be a liaison to A handful of new survivors. I keep hearing the same comments... They pop up ask in local a "question" or the like, and do not gain an answer to said question. The last Survivor I talk too said he logged on several times and this was his last try to communicate with a dead server. His exact words after I said "hello" were, and I quote "THANK GOD". Now I know it plainly says at log in how to switch to global chat but for some reason this seems to allude new Survivors. If we are using statistics 7 out of 7, that's 100%, has failed to see or acknowledged the fact that instructions for changing to global chat are right there on said chat. These are just a few that happen to be trying to communicate while I am on. Lord knows how many I miss while not online.
In conclusion.. I do believe we are losing potential survivors simply because they have no response in local and are assuming the server is "dead" when in fact there simply out of earshot to the rest of the community. I strongly suggest we we default chat on new creations to Global to ensure all survivors are greeted with a proper welcome.
