The idea for this server is what it will be like in real life in this situation for the purpose of communication, travel, trade, building, exploration and real life like cartography making.

New lands for the server so no using of the current world, it could be lands just beyond the mists like another safe zone area.
This would bring a new level of experience and challenge to play. and also would implement maybe?? the first in game player made map system.
* No starting point, its totally random along the edge of the mist as if you have just walked out from the mist and found a safe zone.
When you die before staking your totem or finding a tribe you restart at another random location on the edge.
* the edge of the mist is still the most dangerous areas.
* NO global, tribe, or whisper chat. Only area chat of whisper, talk, and shout. keep these voice range values physically accurate.
* No screenshot possible. (so maps cant be screenshot and placed on the internet) they can be redrawn and traded or sold to other people in game.) and yes I know one still can get around this. so this one is iffy

New in game features would be paper, ink, writing tools, and a very simple drawing program so people can make there own in game maps.
and letters/mail so now people would have to make a working mail system that would mostly be used for trading. Kinda like the movie Postman

*Paper types: forager's paper would be the inside of tree bark, or stone/clay tablets - pioneer would be parchment made from hemp or tree pulp - scrappers could be used on cloth, leather or engravings on plastic sheets or boards using a chisel- trappers be used on animal skins.

*Ink types: foragers made from berries- trappers from animal blood- pioneer from charcoal- scrappers from lead

* writing tools: foragers would be a twig kinda shaped into a quill- pioneer feather quill, scrapper old pens or plastic formed into something-
trappers- hollow bird bones.
