terraforming

This goes along with my last bug report on structures. When terraforming down or up a granite wall turns red. There is a lot of distance where I am digging and where the wall is located. I go move it and put it right back in same spot its green again. I go dig down and it turns back red.

When you terraform a tile, the dig down action also alters the height of the 8 tiles around the one you are stood on.
Imagine a 3x3 grid with you stood on the center tile, when you dig down the 8 tiles around you are affected.

So if a ghost wall is on one of those tiles, then because the dirt has lowered , the wall is no longer supported.

Is this what you are seeing ?

No not at all. I m digging down in new spot no where near the other structures. I can fix it back to green go somewhere else and dig down and another wall will turn red. Its very weird. I have never seen this happen. I know if you dig around ghost structures that can change ground level but Im too far away.

I will take a look at this when I can (when I've confirmed that my latest code upgrades don't have any problems).

Thanks!

I'm deferring all bugs regarding parts going randomly red (invalid). They can happen with large projects and are due to limitations with the current system that checks for supports within a set radius.

I will fix all these issues when it's feasible to come up with a better system for checking the validity of structures.
