Picking up materials directly from the ground to a cart.

It would be neat to have the option to click and drag on materials that can only be on your back or in a cart, directly from the ground and add them to a cart or your back.
Right now we have to add it to our back and then place it in the cart.

I dont understand what this does? Saves 1/2 a second moving it into a cart?

The negs would be 1)Killing someone would not allow you to get those resources. 2)Able to macro easier now. 3)Time coding in a system that isnt really all that useful.

Dragging it into a cart saves almost no time at all. It doesnt even require you to stop moving. You can do it as you are moving around.

Now crafting using mats from a cart, that's another story and likely another suggestion. Loading up a cart directly while gathering bundles, is not needed nor a big issue as far as I can see.

I suggested this one as I am thinking in real life. If you are are going to load a small log for instance into a truck. You can carry it a couple of different ways. The best way for carrying anything heavy is on your back. But if you are standing next to a truck, you are going to simply pick the small log up and toss it in the truck. I'm not talking about changing the gathering format. I'm talking about pre-gathered and stacked materials. Say a full stack of grass/logs ext. So you would still need to be standing there next to the stack.

That would be nice, but think of all the Forage XP your gaining by doing everything one at a time.. :)
(if you get Forage xp for picking stuff up...)
