remove transparent projects for non tribe members
It would add alot to the immersion if you wouldn't see the projects of other tribes. Would make the gameworld much more realistic.

To make it even more interesting you could also change it that only tribe members with the permission to create stuff on tribe lands could see project.


A bonus effect of all this could be a better performance since you don't have to display all the project in the world and you don't have to load them, only the ones in your tribe.

Unless they made it so that these ghost structures disappeared whilst in combat mode, builders would be at a disadvantage to see aggressives since they wouldn't be able to see through the ghost structures (oddly) if the structures behave as they do currently. I agree with you that the idea would make for better immersion. Why not do this:

1) Make projects invisible to non-tribe members. As in they don't see where projects are at all.
2) Make ghost structures into just the little posts and rope-offs for tribe members so they can see where to add materials but not see the ghost object
3) Make projects completely visible to the creator of the project but toggle-able to just #2.

How does that sound? :)

One thing I like about how it currently is, is the fact I can say "Hey guys how do you like this".

But with dismantle really, its pretty cheap to just put it up and tear it down if needed.
