It would be nice to have a feature where items can be dropped into a "recipe" box and it automatically lists the recipes that it is used for. Of course that list would depend on what recipes are known to the character.

Alternatively you can list ALL the items that item is used for but when it shows up as a white typed recipe it means you have learn that recipe. When it is grey it means that you haven't learnt that recipe. This way the player can see the importance of that item from the amount of recipes it is used for
