Longer Word/Character Limit for Player Names (Without the need of _underscores_)
A comprehensive look at the importance of names is Xsyon.
~An Ode' to early morning Roleplaying ideas~
In essence, I've always thought that RPGs/MMOs that allow for longer character names (Plus titles and Epithets) really aid in the story building elements of any given game world. I've always imagined seeing players around Xsyon with unique epithets or titles that correspond with tribal lineage or unique trade work. At the moment however, longer names/titles are hindered by the dreaded _underscore_...which does break up the flow of RP nomenclature. Not terribly so, but enough that it does detract from the flow and power of an individuals name.
i.e. A combat/hunter character named 'Graylock Bear-Arm'
or a Basket maker named 'Illriya the Weaver'
or a tribal founder named something akin to 'Balor the Builder'
or a proud tribal member named something like 'Aela of (the) Abenaki'
These creations and more would be possible with the addition of a longer character limit without the need or usage of _underscores_. However, not being a programmer or developer myself. I cannot fully understand the importance that _underscores_ might play in some aspect of the game code. That being said, I'm sure we've all played RPGs or MMOs that don't have this inherit thing present.

In conclusion:
I would love to see players use longer names in a creative and constructive fashion. However, I do understand the possibility in rude or inappropriate misuse of this mechanic being very possible (I'm sure we can all use our imaginations). Hopefully, this will start a dialogue if any interest is seen in this idea. Thanks for your time!
