Can't learn new schemes
unlearned 11 to gain 5
I'm posting this as a bug although it may not be. In the past when I have not understood the behind the scenes mechanics they have usually be found working as intended.
I'm trying to learn 6 new architecture schemes. So I went through my list of known schemes and found 6 that I could part with and unlearned them. After learning 4 of my new schemes I got the message "you cannot learn anymore schemes". So, I found one more scheme that I could reluctantly part with but still could not learn a new scheme. I then found 4 more schemes from my list and unlearned them. I was able to learn one more new scheme but not the sixth. So I unlearned a total of 11 schemes to learn 5. This I'm not understanding and in fact feeling a bit cheated on as I'm trying to return to the game and try the new building system.
It can take quite a while (2 1/2 years) to amass a good list of architecture schemes that you are happy with and after that time unlearning schemes is painful to do. I'm assuming that with the new schemes that have recently been added to the game (all the gadu stuff, all the 2x2x2 ramps and decks, etc.) that with those additions that all players got I went over my total possible schemes limit? But since everyone was given those as an addition it seems like they should not have counted against the total possible known schemes. At the least, when a player unlearns a scheme we should get a message that gives us a status on how many schemes we will have to unlearn to be able to learn a new one.
As building is the primary draw of the game and a more combat oriented character usually preferred by most players maybe reassessing the total number of schemes here is a good idea. Anyhow, can Xsyon shed some light on this for me?
