Can we make this speed like .5 seconds to make a ghost building? It's already really tedious to do building and there are a lot of things we have to do. But it seems like the 8 seconds it takes to create an image of a building part is way to long.

Most games this is near insta. This will help greatly in speeding up the time it takes to do the mundane part of building.

Making a ghost does nothing for skill or stats. I understand it needs time to check to make sure its going in the right spot, but pretty sure that's right in the beginning and once its done creating it, it does a check.
