was a NECROMANCER possibly planned?
In connection with a territory fight, it would also be possible to create a one-off territory fight with simple effort.
What could this idea look like?
Back in the old Star Wars Galaxies, players had the opportunity to unlock a secret character slot...everyone wanted to know how to unlock it!
This was absolutely brilliant back then.
Why not revive this in XSYON?
For example:
A. Every player could eventually unlock a NECROMANCER by praying a lot and putting in offerings at an altar (or other ideas).
However, this is a HIGH EFFORT and takes time. (Encourages PLAYING XSYON because players always want to achieve something unique!)
B. Once this point is reached, a SECRET SLOT is unlocked where he could then play an additional NECROMANCER/TIER.
C. This one-time free slot with a NECROMANCER/TIER can be levelled and played like a normal char. This epic char has high stats and maybe later special skills/weapon/tool with which he can easily bring Revenants under his control.
what else can he do? (An example)
1. he only gets XP and becomes even stronger if he kills other NECROMANCERS or REVENANTS or continues to sacrifice the crafted armour and weapons of killed Revenants at an altar. this encourages the players to keep on crafting and also the REVENANTS are reduced again in the world.
2. he starts with 1 revenant which he can control and gets 1 revenant for every 10 skills up to skill 100 with 10 revenants and of course he can also set up a TOTEM to found a city. These are then also conquest points for the territory fight. 3.
3. he can open the equipment inventory of each REVENANT and equip it with weapons and equipment of players.
4. if he is killed by players/animals he is gone again and has to be unlocked by praying again.
Such chars are wanted targets in the world!
This system could then be further expanded by unlocking a special weapon from skill 100 which he then gets from the UPPER REVENAT Gamemaster from level 100 and so on!
EVEBTS without end could also be created in this way.
