I've checked the screenshots.

1) The black and purple grass - I have no idea. Was this happening consistently for you? Does the grass render correctly in the current season?

2) The WWWW in the Map Panel can happen when your territory info fails to load properly when entering the world. This seems to happen very rarely due to a lost info packet. Did this happen just once?

I'll close this as I can't reproduce these issues and the second one is something that could happen due to bad connectivity and lost packets.
