Armor Set Bonuses

What about 2 new Buffs:

1st a Bonus of a kind of armor, if a player wear only cloth suits. maybe stats +1

2nd if a player wear all armorpieces of one type like "homewood" leather items ( 13 pieces for each set in total ) all stats +1 again.

the +1 stat bonus is just an example, i'm ok with any benefit like defence, stats, movement, inspiration... maybe even diffrent bonuses on diffrent armor's

I hate this idea. One of the major reasons I do like the sets how they are is they are or should be about looks. I hate that there are "best" sets for this or that. I like people to wear items that fit how they want to look. Which is one reason I hate that there are best pieces of armor for stats.

diffrent sets, diffrent bonuses. would force people do at least make all sets and use them from time to time..

Why would you want to force people to wear outfits that they don't like the looks of them.

DDt explained it well enough I vote no for this feature.

MrDDT, as far as i know you cancelled your account and gave away all your stuff.
So why are you voting for changes in Xsyon, a game you do not play anymore ?

I'm with DDT... If I wanted a set bonus and to see everyone running around in the same gear, I'd play WoW... However, I am not opposed to having slots in clothing/armor that we could craft additional pieces for to give our favored clothes/armor additional bonuses. This being a sandbox game, creating sets takes away a form of freedom and in turn reduces the sandbox feel. If a person was just looking for even more bonuses, I'd even go as far as to suggest worshiping an unnamed deity for a duration buff of either random or chosen from a list.

I do however understand that eventually spells or similar will be implemented, and to have someone in bone armor, for instance, hurling a fireball (example), might be a bit much... But if this were the case, slight penalties may be added to balance out the system, such as reduced spirit regen or damage output for heavier armor (think along the lines of the elder scrolls series). A good example for instance could be for each piece of grass armor hide skill increases by 0.10, though this bonus could be stacked - the wearer could potentially wear

you know that a lot of ddt's input was helping to make the game to what it is and you are playing now?

So far the armors are not very balanced. Bone and leather are the only real choices outside of looks. Imo leather is far and away better, they are lighter with better stay bonus options. But bone has advantage of max protection. However the extra protection isn't really a major matter in the current style of combat.
Grass and cloth are worthless. Once combat is even remotely looked at, maybe can do a pass on armor balance/uses.

Armor types (bone, leather, cloth) will definitely be revised and improved to make the benefits of each type more prominent.

Individual sets, however, were made to allow players to wear their favorite looks. Required materials do need to be revised, again, so that no set within a type is preferable. This has been done twice already with the specific instructions to make all sets even. The next revision I will do personally.
