Idea use for Dexterity
I know Dexterity has almost no use, but I might as well give my idea.

I'm almost sure this has been said somewhere, but I'd like to see a reason to level up Dexterity in that it can be beneficial to some characters. That idea, is Critical Hits. Perhaps Dexterity can also be tied in with your combat skills to give a % chance of a critical hit, like say at Dexterity 100 with Axes 100, it can be a 10% chance of a Critical Hit to keep it balanced (at least for PvP). So another example would be Dexterity 100 and Axes 50 would be a 5% chance, and Dex 50 Axe 50 would be 2.5% chance, hopefully this makes sense.

Maybe another use for it could be the speed at which we travel on slopes, as we would need pretty strong legs to move up slopes effectively. Eh, this second one was a pretty weak idea, and I didn't have much to back it up with.

not almost no use, Dex is the prime stat for Wainwright, Tailor and Fishing,
2nd stat for Armed Skill, Cooking, Blades, and Hunting

It is used more then the Int stat.

As far as I understood it Dex was already used like an accuracy affect on combat but I can find no mention of that in the Manual or Wiki
so you may be right about that one :D

Once I'm done with the upcoming series of creature updates I'll focus on updating combat. That will include additional variables involving stats like Dexterity.

Love this idea. I think Crits should be part the combat.

You can even tie it into type of weapons. Maybe like Shovels/Picks have a 2% base crit multi by a stat (using dex here) so 100 dex and 1% from weapon would give say 4% crit chance.
Using an axe might have a base crit of 2.5% multi by 100 dex = 5% chance.
Using a blade might have a base crit of 5% multi by 100 dex = 10% chance.

This will allow both stat and weapon choices in combat even more.

For this example I simply just made stats a bonus multi, so if you had 10 dex you would have a multi of 1.1, vs if you had 100 dex you would have a multi of 2.0
